recognize your right to privacy and treat your personal information as private and
confidential and we will not disclose this information to others without your
consent, unless required to by law. The following sets out the different types of
information we collect, why we collect it and what you can do if you would like to
remove yourself from our mailing list or change any details we may hold.

What information does Ciao Bella Travel collect and how is it used?
- If you sign up as a member, we will collect your name and email address.
If you elect to receive our newsletter, your email address will be added to
our mailing list. You will not be put on the mailing lists of any third parties
and neither your email address nor your name will be disclosed to anyone
else. We will only use your name and e-mail address to send you
information relating to new developments, products, news and events (and
we'll do so no more than twice a month).
You can easily un-subscribe from our mailing list at any time by logging in
with your email address and password, going to the members section and
tick the un-subscribe box provided.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your username
and passwords and any account information. Please be careful and
responsible whenever you are using the internet and the website.
Many members forget details such as their passwords. We do not disclose
passwords by way of telephone or email. The customer is informed of their "password reminder" rather than the actual password.
- Order information such as your name, billing address, delivery address,
email address and phone number are collected in order to effect delivery
of the goods and services that you order and to contact you in relation to
your order if necessary. These details are retained in our database so
that you don't have to retype them every time you place an order. You can
change or delete these details at any time by logging in using your email
address and password, and then going to the members section.
Third parties have been engaged to fulfill and deliver purchases.
Information will only be provided to those parties to enable them to
perform those functions on behalf of Ciao Bella Travel.If you elect to pay online using your credit card, your card details are not
viewed by us or by any person except you at any time during the
transaction. They are encrypted and passed directly to the Bank through
our security provider Net Registry Pty Ltd.
However, we do use various details to verify information given to us by our
customers. At times, we use names on member accounts to compare
with information on credit cards. We use member phone numbers and
email addresses provided to us to communicate with customers about
payments. We may also use member addresses to check against credit
card billing addresses.
We will pass on any information relating to suspected fraudulent activity to
relevant authorities.
- General site traffic data is also collected for the purpose of site
maintenance and improvement. This provides only generalised
information about how often certain pages are viewed. This does not
identify individual users, but instead helps us to understand what sorts of
goods and services our customers are interested in and alerts us to any
areas of the site that may be difficult to navigate. This type of information
is generally collected by way of cookies.
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are placed on your computer's
hard drive through your web browser. Cookies enable our systems to
recognise your browser and welcome you back to the website. Most
internet browsers are pre-set to accept cookies. However, if you prefer not
to receive cookies, your Internet browser can be adjusted to disable or to
warn you when cookies are used. We recommend that you leave your
cookies enabled otherwise, you will not be able to shop with us. Our
cookies don't send us back any information about your computer or any
